Missed a critical shot in a match? Found a pattern you want to understand better? Coaching a student through a specific position route?
With Custom Shots in Bullseye Billiards 4.0, you can turn those situations into repeatable drills, practice them through structured training sessions, and track your improvement over time.
The update also introduces the interactive Shot Builder, giving you direct control over every part of the diagram.

Build the Exact Shot You Want to Practice
Start with an empty table or use an eligible shot from Bullseye’s 400-shot catalog as your starting point.
You can then customize:
- ball positions
- cue-ball and object-ball paths
- aim and spin
- stroke speed
- difficulty
- coaching instructions
Place the balls, draw the intended routes, adjust the shot settings, and preview the finished drill while you work. Undo, redo, zoom, and display controls make it easier to experiment and position everything precisely.
You can save, rename, duplicate, and revise your Custom Shots whenever your practice needs change.
See the Shot Builder tutorial for more details on how to design custom shot layouts.

Practice Your Shots and Measure Your Progress
Custom Shots work inside the same structured practice system as Bullseye’s catalog shots.
Practice a drill, record your results, and monitor your score and proficiency over time. The new Custom Shots report shows how often you are training your own drills and how your performance is changing.
This creates a direct process for improving problem shots:
Recreate the situation. Practice it deliberately. Record the result. Repeat until it improves.
Organize Drills Into Training Plans
Add Custom Shots to Favorite Lists to group related situations, such as:
- difficult cuts
- rail position routes
- match shots you missed
- drills for a specific student
- patterns for an upcoming competition
You can also include them in Workouts to build more structured training sessions.
Share Shots With Players and Students
Custom Shots can be shared as diagrams, links, or QR codes.
Send a drill to a teammate, assign a shot to a student, review a pattern with a coach, or share a practice challenge with other players.
Personalize Your Diagrams
Bullseye 4.0 also adds new diagram options, including selectable object-ball styles and table-cloth colors. You can make the diagrams more closely resemble the equipment and conditions you normally play on.
The update also includes:
- refreshed catalog diagrams
- improved Coach guidance
- scoring refinements
- accessibility improvements throughout the app
Whether you are rebuilding a shot that cost you a match, creating a lesson for a student, or testing a new position route, Bullseye 4.0 lets you turn the idea into focused, measurable practice.
