SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
For more insight, you may also want to read Shopify’s Terms of Service here or Privacy Statement here.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 9 - OUR MOBILE APPS
This section describes our privacy practices for the mobile apps we publish for iOS and Android. It applies to every app listed under Razor Pool, LLC on the Apple App Store and Google Play, which share the same account system, cloud infrastructure and service providers. It applies in addition to the sections above, and controls where there is any difference. Individual apps use only the parts of this section that apply to their features, and an app’s own store listing describes what that app does with the categories below.
9.1 Accounts and sign-in
You can generally start using an app without creating an account. In that case the app creates a guest account identified only by a randomly generated account ID, and the data you create is tied to that ID.
If you choose to register so that your data is backed up and available on other devices, you can sign in with Apple or sign in with Google. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) and by the identity provider you choose. We receive an account ID, your email address, and the display name the provider shares with us. We never receive your Apple or Google password. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose “Hide My Email”, we only receive Apple’s private relay address.
9.2 Information our apps collect
| Category | Examples | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Account ID, email address, display name, sign-in provider | To create and secure your account, sync your data across devices, and respond to support requests |
| Content and activity you create in the app | Your profile and preferences, sessions and activity you record, scores, results, progress and statistics, items you save or favorite, content you create or share, and milestones you earn | To provide the core features of the app, keep your history available to you, and generate the reports, recommendations and achievements the app offers |
| Device and app information | Platform (iOS or Android), device type (phone or tablet), app version, device language, time the app was last opened, push notification token | To deliver the correct content and layout, send notifications you opted into, and diagnose problems |
| Purchase information | Subscription and entitlement status, store transaction identifiers, purchase history for our products | To unlock paid content, restore purchases, and handle billing support. We never receive or store your payment card number |
| Usage and analytics | Screens viewed, features used, in-app events, session counts, approximate region derived from IP address | To understand which features are used and to improve our apps |
| Diagnostics | Crash reports, error logs, performance data, stack traces | To find and fix crashes and bugs |
| Support and bug reports you send | The description you write, your email address if you provide one, and any screenshot, image, audio note or diagnostic log you choose to attach; on supported devices, a replay of the app screens leading up to the report | To reproduce and resolve the issue you reported |
Our apps do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your health data, or your browsing activity on other apps and websites.
9.3 Device permissions
An app asks for a permission only at the point where a feature needs it, and you can decline or revoke it later in your device settings. Declining a permission disables only the related feature. Depending on the app, we may ask for:
- Notifications - to send reminders and summaries, if you enable them.
- Photo library (read) - only to let you attach an image to a bug report.
- Photo library (add) - only to save an image to your photos when you tap save.
- Microphone - only to let you record an audio note when reporting a bug.
If an app needs a permission not listed here, it will explain the reason in the system prompt at the moment it asks.
9.4 How we use information
We use the information above to operate and secure our apps, save and sync the data you create, produce the results, statistics and recommendations the app provides, process and restore in-app purchases, send notifications you asked for, fix crashes and bugs, respond to your support messages, understand aggregate feature usage, and comply with legal obligations.
9.5 What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our apps contain no third-party advertising and no advertising SDKs. We do not use the Android Advertising ID or the Apple Identifier for Advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
9.6 Service providers used by our apps
We share information with the providers below only as needed for them to perform services for us. They are contractually limited to that purpose and have their own privacy policies.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) - authentication, cloud database for the data you create, push notifications, remote configuration and analytics.
- Apple - Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and subscription billing.
- Google Play (Google LLC) - Google Sign-In, Play Store purchases and subscription billing.
- RevenueCat, Inc. - subscription and entitlement management; receives your account ID, your email address and display name where available, and purchase records.
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) - crash and error reporting; receives diagnostic data and your account ID and email address so that we can connect a crash to a support request.
- Luciq - in-app bug reporting, feedback and diagnostics; receives the reports you submit, their attachments and related session diagnostics.
- TelemetryDeck - privacy-focused product analytics; receives app events identified by a one-way hashed account identifier rather than your account ID or email address.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred to the new owner.
9.7 Where your information is stored
Razor Pool, LLC is based in the United States, and our providers store and process app data on servers in the United States and in other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. If you use an app from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
9.8 Data retention
We keep your account information and the data you create for as long as your account is active, so that your history remains available to you. When you delete your account we delete your account record and the data associated with it from our active systems, and that deletion propagates to routine backups in the ordinary course. Diagnostic records, bug reports and aggregate or de-identified usage statistics may be retained for a limited period, and we may keep records we are required to keep for tax, accounting or legal purposes. Purchase and subscription records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat are governed by their own retention practices.
9.9 Deleting your data and your choices
You can delete your data from inside the app. Open the app’s account or profile settings and select Delete Account. If you are using a guest account, the same control appears as Delete Guest Data. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, history and the content you created in that app. You can also request deletion, or ask for a copy or correction of the personal information we hold, by emailing info@razorpool.com or the support address on the app’s store listing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You control notifications in two places: an app’s own settings, where you can turn individual notification types on or off, and your device settings, where you can turn off notifications for the app entirely. You can sign out at any time, which stops us from associating further app activity with your registered account.
9.10 Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your personal information, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. To exercise a right, email info@razorpool.com or use the Privacy Choices page. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are performance of our contract with you (operating your account and the app), our legitimate interests (securing our apps, fixing defects and improving features), your consent (notifications and optional device permissions), and compliance with legal obligations.
9.11 Children’s privacy
Our apps are intended for a general audience of users aged 13 and over, and they are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from children under the age of digital consent in their country where that age is higher. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@razorpool.com and we will delete it.
9.12 Security of app data
Traffic between our apps and our providers is encrypted in transit using TLS, data stored with our providers is encrypted at rest, and access to the data you create is restricted by database rules to your own authenticated account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9.13 Apple and Google store disclosures
Each app’s App Store privacy details and Google Play Data safety section describe the same collection, use and sharing practices as this section, limited to the categories that app actually uses. If you believe a store listing and this policy disagree, please tell us at info@razorpool.com so we can correct the discrepancy.
SECTION 10 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, and in our apps where appropriate, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
